Registration Rules & Guidelines
1. All owners or breeders
of any dog(s) applying for International Olde English Bulldogge
Association (IOEBA)
registration must abide by and follow all of the current IOEBA
registration rules,
guidelines, policies, and procedures. Upon
approved registration of any dog in accordance with
current IOEBA
registration rules, an approved registration applicant becomes a
member of the
International Olde English Bulldogge Association.
Anyone not following or found to be violating any
IOEBA rules, guidelines, policies, and
procedures could face penalties up to and including
suspension
or cancellation of registration privileges.
2. All applications submitted for registration with the
International Olde English Bulldogge
Association should be made on the most recent version of
an original IOEBA application. It is the
responsibility of each dog owner / breeder who represents dogs /
puppies as eligible for IOEBA
registration or being IOEBA registered
to insure that each IOEBA
Single
Registration Application,
Temporary Puppy
Certificate or
Registration
Certificate is fully completed and given to the
new owner
at the time the dog / puppy is sold or ownership
transferred. All applications must be sent to the
International Olde English Bulldogge Association Registration Office at: P.O. Box 2600,
Tehachapi,
California 93581.
3. The IOEBA
Single
Registration application must be used to register
dogs whose parents are
not registered with International Olde English Bulldogge Association. The dog owner must complete
the application and
can provide a copy of registration papers from another kennel club
(approved by
IOEBA) as proof of his/her dog being purebred if available. If
other kennel club papers are not
available, the dog's owner must
sign & provide a
witness signature who can verify the accuracy and
truthfulness of the
information listed on the application. When using the witness
option, your dog
must be at least 6 months of age and you must
submit 3 photos (frontal, left & right) of your dog with
the
application. All
IOEBA
Single
Registration
applications must be complete with proper
documentation,
signatures and correct applicable fees for processing by the
IOEBA
Registration
Office. All applications must be sent to the
International Olde English Bulldogge Association
Registration Office at: P.O. Box 2600,
Tehachapi, California 93581.
4. Any breeder or owner of any dog(s) representing puppies as
eligible for or registered with the
International Olde English Bulldogge Association
must have the sire and the dam / parent dogs of the
puppies
registered with the IOEBA prior to representing the puppies as
eligible for registration with the
IOEBA.
5. When representing a puppy as being IOEBA
registered, the owner / breeder must provide the
new owner with
a current, completed & signed IOEBA "Temporary Puppy" certificate, which
will
include the parents' IOEBA registered names and their IOEBA
registration numbers as well as the
sex, date of birth and color
the the puppy.
6. The IOEBA accepts registration
applications and issues certificates based on the honor and
integrity of the owner / breeder applicants, and the IOEBA accepts no
responsibility for any
inaccurate, false, or fraudulent
information submitted on registration applications.
Applicants found to
be intentionally submitting false information or violating
any IOEBA rules, guidelines,
policies, and or
procedures could face penalties up to and
including suspension or cancellation of all registration
privileges.
A. The IOEBA reserves the right to
refuse registration to any person or to revoke or suspend the
registration privileges of any member who is convicted of a
crime of cruelty to animals in any state,
province, or country.
B. The IOEBA reserves the right to refuse registration to any
person or to revoke or suspend the
registration privileges of
any member who acts in a manner that the IOEBA deems unethical,
fraudulent, unscrupulous, untruthful.
C. The IOEBA reserves the right to investigate any member to
insure compliance with IOEBA
registration rules, guidelines,
policies, and procedures. Anyone determined to be at fault of
violating
any of the IOEBA's registration rules, guidelines,
policies, and procedures are responsible for all fees
incurred
by the IOEBA investigation, including, but not limited to: DNA
parentage testing and any
other tests conducted in the IOEBA's
investigation.
D. The IOEBA reserves the right to refuse future registration to
any person or to revoke or suspend
the registration privileges
of any member who refuses to cooperate with or hinders in any
way a
IOEBA investigation or refuses to reimburse IOEBA
investigation fees as described in rule 6c.
7. All IOEBA registration
applicants and IOEBA registration certificate holders acknowledge
that
all photos, IOEBA registration applications (submitted) are the property
of the IOEBA.
Furthermore,
it is the responsibility of each dog owner /
breeder to notify the IOEBA of any changes in a dog’s
registration
status such as its death or change in ownership.
8. In any case of
questionable parentage of a IOEBA -registered dog(s) or dog(s)
submitted for
IOEBA registration, the International Olde English Bulldogge Association
will recognize and act upon
the results of DNA testing to
determine the parentage of the dog(s)
in question. The DNA testing shall
be conducted at a IOEBA recognized & approved DNA testing facility, according to current
IOEBA
procedures as set forth by the IOEBA, and at the expense of the party contesting or challenging the
parentage of the dog(s).
Any breeder or owner of any dog(s), listed on a IOEBA registration application, who has the parentage
of the IOEBA registered dog(s) challenged, shall agree to submit the dog(s) in question to DNA
testing according to IOEBA guidelines and
policies at the challenger’s expense, and agrees to abide
by
said DNA testing results.
9. All purebred dogs
registered with the International Olde English Bulldogge
Association must be
of proper
breed type (phenotype) and fit the described IOEBA breed standard.
In cases
where the phenotype of an applicant dog is in question a review
board of IOEBA registration
staff along with a licensed
Veterinarian (if needed) will determine if the dog in question
will be eligible
for IOEBA registration. Any breeder or
owner of any dog(s) registered with the IOEBA who has the
phenotype standard of his IOEBA registered dog(s) challenged as
being not of proper breed type,
shall agree to submit DNA,
additional photos & video of the dog(s) in question to the
IOEBA
review
board as needed according to IOEBA guidelines at the
challenger’s expense.
All members of the IOEBA and registration
applicants agree to abide by the IOEBA registration
review board's
findings and final decision.
10. International Olde English Bulldogge Association registration may be revoked by the
IOEBA
on any dog where it has been determined by the IOEBA that any of
the following has occurred:
A. DNA tests demonstrate the dog in question
to be of different parentage than as represented on the
dog’s
application;
B. It has been determined by
the IOEBA Registration Review Board that the dog in question is
not of
the proper phenotype or not of proper breed type;
C. False information concerning any dog submitted to the
IOEBA on
a registration application;
D. The IOEBA requests DNA or phenotype Registration Review
Board testing and the
owner refuses
to cooperate as required or as requested by the
IOEBA.
