                                       The IOEBA Today

 Goals and General Purpose:

To advance and improve the breeding of purebred Olde English Bulldogges and other Bull breeds by establishing and maintaining a genetic stud file of all registered IOEBA canines.

To promote and encourage registration of purebred Olde English Bulldogges and various other Bull breeds.  Registration information can be valuable to not only identify the ancestry of dogs but traits both desirable and undesirable can be identified as well.

To encourage all breeders of IOEBA registered canines to use only the best of the best in their breeding programs.  While putting an emphasis on health, temperament and conformation.

The encourage the betterment of canine life by education of breeders and owners of today's ever changing ideas and advancements in dog care.

The new ownership and management took over complete ownership of the IOEBA in January of 2003.  The IOEBA was established in 1995 as a breed specific registry for Olde English Bulldogges.  The IOEBA grew in leaps and bounds from its commencement filling the needed demand of breeders by offering a registering office to register their Olde English Bulldogges and maintain accurate genetic records of their breeding stock and the descendants that were being produced from their breeding programs.  Many of these breeders were creating their very own bloodlines and the IOEBA was there to document their re-creations of the Olde English Bulldogges of the past.

To date the IOEBA has registered tens of thousands Olde English Bulldogges and thousands of other bull and rare breeds.  We expect the number of registered IOEBA dogs to significantly increase within the next couple of years due to the Olde English Bulldogges ever growing popularity and the IOEBA’s new policy of accepting registration for several rare breeds.  We accept this challenge and look forward to showing our professionalism, dedication and commitment to be the very best registering office of Olde English Bulldogges and various rare breeds.

The management of the IOEBA found a need for several immediate changes that we felt would be to the benefit of our dedicated customers.  To begin with we have redesigned all of our past forms, applications and certificates.  We have also made them available on the new IOEBA website.  The new forms and applications are better formatted so that we may better serve our customers and offer a quicker turn over time on processing their important paper work.

The IOEBA registration certificates have also been completely redesigned.  We feel that the new more elaborate and ornate 8 x 11 design better represents the quality of purebred dogs that are being registered today with the IOEBA.  We strongly feel that the new designed registration certificates are superior in quality to certificates being offered by any other registering body.

The IOEBA can now also offer “Genetic Contribution Percentage” charts.  These new charts break down the various genetic contribution percentages of the ancestry of the dogs in your breeding program,  therefore allowing you to better plan your breedings based on line - breeding around various characteristics that are directly related to genetic contribution percentages.  This is another tool that the new ownership of the IOEBA is offering to better assist you in creating the very best canines possible.

The IOEBA also offers 3, 4, and 5 generation pedigrees as well.  These are beneficial to keep track of your registered dog’s ancestry.

The IOEBA and its customers are dedicated to the improvement and advancement of the breeds that we register and breed.  We are here to serve you as a registered dog owner and  or breeder. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
